What is The Training Academy of Naledi?
The Training Academy of Naledi (TAN) is an accredited skills development and training provider offering nationally recognised qualifications in business, management, and technical trades. Our mission is to equip learners with practical skills that prepare them for employment, entrepreneurship, or career advancement.
Is TAN accredited?
Yes. TAN is accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and collaborates with relevant Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs). All qualifications are registered with SAQA, ensuring national recognition and quality assurance.
Where is TAN located?
Our main training campus is situated in Brakpan, Gauteng, with partner workplaces across South Africa for learners completing practical components.

Does TAN offer online or blended learning options?
Yes. TAN offers blended learning, combining online instruction, in-person sessions, and workplace learning. Fully online modules are being introduced for select programmes.

When do classes start?
TAN has three main intakes each year — February, May, and September. Updated schedules are published on our website and social media pages.

Yes. TAN offers flexible part-time and after-hours learning options for individuals who are employed or have other commitments.
Fees and Financial Assistance
How much do the courses cost?
Course fees differ by qualification. A full fee schedule is provided during registration or on request via info@nalediacademy.co.za. TAN aims to keep training affordable without compromising quality.
Do you offer bursaries or payment plans?
Yes. TAN offers monthly payment options and partners with SETAs and employers for funded learnerships and bursaries, subject to availability.
Certification and Career Progression
What qualification will I receive after completing my studies?
Learners who complete all theoretical, practical, and workplace modules receive a nationally recognised Occupational Certificate issued by the QCTO and recorded on the SAQA database.
Can I study further after my qualification?
Yes. TAN encourages continuous development through structured learning pathways:
• Occupational Certificate: Electrician (NQF 4) → Electrical Engineering Diploma (NQF 6) → Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech).
